Here’s an update on the FLY8MA crew!
We’ve been up in Alaska much of this summer filming more flight training videos and real-world weather videos that we’ll be adding to our Private Pilot, Instrument, and Commercial Pilot courses here over the next few months! With over 200 hours of filming, we’ve got some awesome footage coming your way! We’ve started a new YouTube channel to keep you up to date with the latest episodes we post, and to keep you informed about our 3-month long journey flying from Alaska, back to Florida. We’ll be stopping at a few hundred airports along the way, so don’t hesitate to message us when we’re coming to your town!
Here’s a look at episode #1, make sure you subscribe on YouTube to the new channel!
It’s been really exciting flying around Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula, and even out west in Alaska. We’re looking forward to starting our trip home to Florida and hope to see some of you along the way!
We’ve got lots of VFR and IFR footage that we’ll be sharing with you guys to help sharpen your flying and aeronautical decision making skills! If you’ve got any questions about the trip, or want more live updates, message and follow us on instagram at #fly8ma.
Fly safe and we’ll see ya in the air!

Our mission is to change the way flight training is done in the typical Part 61 and Part 141 atmospheres. We believe in encompassing all of the learning senses to build a firm foundation of knowledge to ultimately build a better, safer breed of pilots. With the airplane cockpit being one of the worst classrooms on earth, we've turned to technology mixed in with some slightly different approaches to achieve the kind of true learning needed to make sharp and safe pilots.
